Meet Dr. Muhammad Shahzad

Dr. Muhammad Shahzad, DVM

Dr. Muhammad Shahzad graduated from the University of Veterinary and Animal sciences in Lahore, Pakistan in 2012. He then obtained a Master’s in Theriogenology (animal reproduction sciences) at the same university, completing various projects in artificial insemination of small and large animals. He finished his master’s in 2014 and went on to work in wildlife conservation project on the Sir Bani Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE from 2015 to 2017. He then moved to private practice in Pakistan for four years before moving to Canada.

Dr. Muhammad Shahzad enjoys all aspects of veterinary sciences but has a special interest in orthopaedic surgery, infectious diseases and emergency medicine. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and extreme sports such as skydiving, jet skiing, and paragliding.
